The Twowaymarkets UK Select (TUS)
This is an Alternative Discretionary Managed account service, managed by Twowaymarkets Ltd (TWM) and provided exclusively to Twowaymarkets’ clients. TUS aims to generate speculative returns through the trading of company shares (equities) on the UK FTSE 100 Index. TWM will analyse the FTSE 100 index and the incumbent shares to identify clearly the current trend. This analysis is used by TWM to manage the CFD account of each client. Instructions are given by TWM to initiate new positions and manage existing positions, meaning no involvement from clients in the day-to-day running of the account (however, the account is instant access and live performance can be viewed online at any time).
As an alternative investment, the product is able to make profits in falling and rising markets and in 2008 acheived a profit of over 50%.
The strategy is managed by Thierry Laduguie at Twowaymarkets. Thierry has many years experience in the stock market as a successful portfolio manager, technical strategist, writer and researcher. He is a member of the Society of Technical Analysts and holds the Investment Management Certificate. Thierry has been involved with Twowaymarkets for a number of years, providing advice to Onewaybet.com, a trading name of Twowaymarkets Ltd, where he was responsible for the UK Stock Tips and FTSE Intra-day services. He has written a weekly column for Money Week and is a regular guest speaker at trading seminars. He is an active portfolio manager and develops strategies for hedge funds and private investors. His research website "E-Yield" was also recently nominated for the "Best Specialist Research" award at the 2009 The Technical Analst awards.
